The Eagles have announced the following roster moves on Tuesday:
• Eagles sign DT Kobe Smith
The Eagles have signed 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle Kobe Smith on the eve of the first Training Camp practice. Smith began his NFL career as an undrafted rookie in 2020 before signing with Tennessee and earning a practice squad spot. He was waived by the Titans, then signed with Tampa Bay’s practice squad for the remainder of 2020 and the entire 2021 season.
Smith played collegiately at the University of South Carolina, where he appeared in 48 games and started 17 times. In his senior season in 2019, he recorded 28 tackles in 11 games started.
• Eagles waive DT Noah Elliss with a non-football injury
The Eagles have waived defensive tackle Noah Elliss due to a non-football injury. Ellis was signed as an undrafted rookie in 2022. He is the brother of Eagles linebacker Christian Elliss, who was signed as a free agent in 2021.
