It was an amazing NFL Draft with more than its fair share of surprises. One of those areas that weren’t so surprising? How about the Philadelphia Eagles vice president. general manager, Howie Roseman, using his ten selections like bargaining chips?
None of us really thought Howie would make ten picks, did we? Philly’s GM moved up, traded back, and traded capital away to land a superstar. The Birds wound up only making five selections in total, and now, the process of building the 90-man training camp roster is in full swing.
Shortly after the selection meeting wrapped, Philly began signing undrafted rookie free agents. Here’s who you’ll need to familiarize yourself with during the rest of the spring and summer.
The Birds may have made up for their negligence in drafting anyone who plays in the secondary by adding a few intriguing prospects post-draft. The highlights are the Clemson Tigers’ other cornerback and a very capable quarterback prospect.
