Who is Cole Banwart? – Yardbarker

Cole Banwart joined the Miami Dolphins as an OL back in May, and let’s be honest. We’re all anxiously awaiting the season to start and scoping out the rosters is just one way to fill the void we all have while waiting for the games to begin.
I done the research, so you don’t have to. Banwart was undrafted out of Iowa back in the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed as a rookie free agent with the Titans until September 9th. After that, he practiced with the Vikings and the Giants for the rest of the season. Then, The Miami Dolphins signed him as an OL through 2024 and is up for RFA in 2025.
There are some comments out there that reference an injury in 2019 that suggest some weaknesses in his play strength and drive-blocking may be a result of this. It’s been some time since then and it’s possible that time with the Miami Dolphins is what he needs to find his place. There’s not a lot of information out there about Cole Banwart, so I’m going to pay special attention to the upcoming practices. I think he may be one to watch.
